Luxurious, thick moisturizing cream with EGF and black truffle that deeply hydrates dry, sensitive skin. Customers praise its "buttery texture" and quick absorption, leaving skin "soft and plump." Some note it can feel tacky or heavy if over-applied. Best for nighttime use; may be too rich under makeup. Subtle herbal scent, beautiful packaging with spatula included.

- My dry, sensitive, aging skin is instantly quenched when I apply this cream.

This face cream is very moisturizing, it absorbs well, takes a little to absorb completely but once it does it doesn't leave the skin sticky. The scent is very subtle, I'm allergic to strong scents and this one is lovely and once applied it goes away completely. The jar is beautiful, comes with a spatula and sealed. This a high end product and it shows.
(Ingredients list is at the bottom of this review.)I really love the BONAJOUR EGF Time Recovery Solution Cream (1.6 Fl. Oz). It's a bit pricey, but it's a lovely, thick, buttery cream, which my dry sensitive skin enjoys. The ingredients list is also very impressive. I love the fact that they included Ceramides, in particular. This is a cream-colored cream with a luxurious, thick, buttery texture. It is a stiffer, thicker cream, but it blends into the skin perfectly, while still leaving a nice layer of lasting moisture and hydration on the surface of the skin. It does not leave you wanting more. It's perfect for locking in moisture and hydration all night. My skin looks plump and well-cared-for in the morning. It has the slightest hint of an herbal scent, but it is almost undetectable. The packaging is a beautiful, hexagon-shaped, thick, weighty, frosted plastic jar with a matte nude/pink-colored twist-off lid. It comes with its own plastic spatula.Overall, I am really loving this cream. I will definitely continue to use it, and I will consider repurchasing in the future. I highly recommend.INGREDIENTS:Tuber Melanosporum Extract, Glycerin, Water, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Propanediol, Ceteary| Alcohol, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Glycereth-26,Diheptyl Succinate, Cetearyl Olivate, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Glucoside, Squalane, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, sh-Oligopeptide-1, Hydrogenated Rapeseed Oil, Panthenol, Sorbitan Olivate, Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer, 1.2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Olivoy Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Carbomer, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Arginine, Glycosyl Trehalose, Glyceryl Oleate, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Boswela Carterii Oil, Tocopherol,Alantoin, Bakuchiol, Dipotassium Glycyrhizate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Adenosine, Ceramide NP, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Glucose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Lysolecithin, Phytosphingosine, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Oligopeptide-29.
I've had problems for a while now with rosacea and my skin being irritated in the mornings. I finally figured out that a lot of it had to do with the lack of moisture in the air so I was glad to try this facial cream. No noxious aroma, it's easy to apply and I like to use it overnight because it restores the moisture barrier to my facial skin before dryness can set in. I will say it is a little bit sticky so I wouldn't use this as a day cream under makeup because it doesn't hold very well.Night use is better and worth it for me! I'm a woman in my forties and I have sensitive skin with rosacea and this works well with my skins tone and texture.
I have quite a selection of skincare products and love to try new ones, so this cream with epidermal growth factor (egf) and black truffle extract intrigued me. EGF has some of the same benefits as retinol while being less harsh and black truffle can help with things like hyperpigmentation, making this a multitasking product. It’s a very thick and rich cream that leaves my face feeling moisturized. I find myself reaching for this cream over some of the others I have and I like this face cream well enough to check out other products in the same line. It’s on the spendy side, but I feel like it’s comparable to or even better than other products I have in the same price range, making it a decent value.
This jar of Bonjour EGF Time Recovery cream is lovely! The jar is gorgeous. The cream has a wonderful texture and is easy to spread on my skin. A small amount is all that's needed. I found that it left my parched skin feeling hydrated and softer. It absorbs quickly but doesn't completely disappear so I'm still left feeling protected. This is a very luxurious cream that works very well in my skincare routine. This cream contains a potent blend of ingredients, including epidermal growth factor (EGF), niacinamide, adenosine, and hyaluronic acid. These ingredients are supposed to work together to stimulate cell growth, improve skin elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and hydrate the skin. I did a patch test on my inner elbow the day before using it, just to make sure that I didn't have a reaction. My skin is sensitive so I was relieved to know it would not irritate my skin. I am really impressed with the quality and performance of this skin cream.
I live in the southern U.S. so I'm used to a lot of humidity and moisture on my skin in the summer, and fight turning into elephant hide over the winter (heaters drying out the air, my skin, my hair...). I have been using this Bonajour Moisturizing Cream for several weeks now and it has done a great job moisturizing my dry skin. I cannot speak to the wrinkle repair part of it because I don't really have anything to repair yet, but as far as moisture... yes! This is a fairly heavy cream. If applied too thickly it acts as more of a nighttime mask (which really, sometimes that is what I'm looking for). I do not use this in the morning because it takes too long to soak into my skin even when applied in a thin layer and I don't have the time to wait on it to absorb. But at night it is a serious luxury cream. When I say it is thick, I don't mean greasy. It just provides a really nice protective layer for my skin without being greasy. The scent is light and fresh and pleasant. Definitely does not have the heavy perfumey scent of some moisturizers. This is my new favorite nighttime cream by far with the bonus of hopefully keeping premature aging at bay.
This is a super silky and lightweight cream. I like that it has no added fragrance, and its scent from the ingredients isn’t too medicinal or strong. It’s hard to describe what it smells like; it’s not awful, if you definitely do smell something, but the scent goes away within a few minutes after absorption. My skin drank it up and was left soft, and with a little bit of a tacky feeling. Have you ever gotten egg white on your skin? It kind of feels like that. I plan to use this religiously for a few weeks to see if there are any positive results. For reference, I have combination skin, and I’m 44. I have sensitive skin and I occasionally still get a blemish now and then.
The BONAJOUR cream is among the most deeply hydrating products I have found. It applies easily, and keeps my skin feel hydrated for hours, even in the midst of the coldest California winter I've ever experienced.EGF = epidermal growth factor. I'm not clear which ingredient is supplying that (the truffles?) but will chalk it up to marketing hype. I also don't expect this (or any) product to prevent me from aging. We're all getting older every minute. The product is vegan and cruelty-free, plus the jar is pink and a charming adornment to the bathroom counter.
The bottle is so pretty on my counter! The cream is really rich and my skin was glowing when I woke up because it was still super moisturized from the night before.
This cream is thick. I made the mistake the first time I applied it by using too much of it and my face was tacky with product all night. It probably hadn’t even fully soaked in by the next morning. It has the light scent of mango which isn’t all that noticeable unless you have applied too much like I did the first time. Even using just a little dab the product feels heavy on your skin for about thirty minutes. After that I can still feel the product on my face when I touch it. For this reason, I like to use the solution cream in the morning underneath my make-up.
Beautiful velvety cream! Excellent absorption that leaves behind gorgeously smooth moisturized skin. I expected a perfumy smell but this had more of a herby? smell. The bottle was very elegant! This was a bit pricy but better than many many creams I have tried.
My dry, sensitive, aging skin is instantly quenched when I apply BONAJOUR cream. It soaks right in; absorption is fast and leaves behind no greasy look/feel. As much as I love the softness and moisture I experience after applying, its the way the cream revives and awakens my normally dull skin that I really love and appreciate most. It feels better and looks better. And the kicker is, I've not used it very long and am already experiencing results!I have dry, sensitive skin and have no issues using this. There is no scent.Love what this is doing for me thus far. (Also love the jar is comes in...VERY pretty!) Going to continue using this as I'm already seeing wonderful results.
As I get—ahem—older, I am looking for different kinds of face products, and moisturizers are high on my list these days. The product information didn’t say anything about when to apply it, so I chose to use it as a moisturizer before putting on any other makeup. It doesn’t have any sunscreen in it, so I put products with sunscreen on over it.This cream has a very nice consistency, it feels good on my skin, and it gets absorbed instantly. The fragrance was a little surprising, I guess because I was probably expecting something floral, but another reviewer described it as “herbal”, and I think that’s accurate. I think that it also fits with the idea of black truffles (exotic underground treasures), although I don’t really know what truffles themselves smell like. The webpage mentions a test involving applying the cream for 28 days and seeing improvement in skin water content, elasticity, and texture. Well, I’ve been using it for only a few days, so I don’t expect to be able to see any major change. But I think that my skin might be looking less dry and flaky already. That’s a maybe, but in the meantime, I am definitely enjoying using this product.
