This line by Wishtrend is awesome. This Essence works similar to a toner and it’s full of ingredients to help combat excess oil and acne while allowing skin to glow and retain hydration. I use this with a cotton pad and gently dab it into skin AM and PM before my serum and cream. This Essence has a water-like viscosity but it isn’t oily at all. My skin is left feeling fresh and it compliments my other products well. Considering this is an established K-beauty brand, the price is on-par and very generous in the long run as you don’t need to use too much product.

The texture of the essence is lightweight and slightly viscous, making it easy to spread across the skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, which is a huge plus for me. I found that it worked well with my combination skin type and didn't cause any breakouts or irritation. In terms of the energy-boosting claims, I did feel a subtle revitalization in my skin. It seemed to look more refreshed and energized, especially on really hot days.

I have been using this essence for a little over a month now and I can genuinely say that I notice a massive improvement! My skin looks much more supple and hydrated and it has this “calm” look that I haven’t been able to get from any other product. It takes out any redness and makes my skin look more uniform.I like to apply a small amount to a cotton pad and rub it over my face and neck. I have also poured a few drops into my hands and massaged it into my skin. It has a very thin, watery consistency that is easily absorbed and doesn’t leave behind a greasy/oily residue. It can be worn under makeup without effecting its appearance or wear time. I apply this as the first step after washing my face and then apply my serum and moisturizer over top.A little bit of product goes a long way so I expect I to last a long time. I will definitely be repurchasing it and highly recommend it, especially for those with dry, sensitive skin.

My skin type: sensitiveskin, dryskin, matureskinTexture & Finish: light, watery but not overly thin, similar to PKY toner, but slightly more "siliconey" feel on application. Fast absorbing, slight shine immediately post application but absorbs with no trace in a few minutes.Effectiveness: I am trying so many essences and toners but i like the propolis ingredient, especially in a similar popular serum so I wanted to see how it'd fare in an essence. It feels like there is definitely a product on the skin compared to other essences, haven't noticed huge change, no sensitivity or irritation and it plays well with other products.Additional thoughts: if you react to the BOJ serum and want the propolis effect this can be an option. This brand is a bit pricier as far as korean skincare goes.Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a light unscented essence that is great for those looking for extra hydration. It is slightly more viscous than a toner but thinner than your typical serums. I put a few drops on my hand and pat it on a clean face after my toner. Propolis definitely helps with skin hydration and calming of irritations and it absorbed quickly without leaving any sticky residue. It layers well under moisturizers as well! Highly recommended!

I have never used essence before so I thought I would give this toner from Wishtrend a try. I am happy that it was non-scented and non-irritating since my skin can be sensitive. It is a nice step to add after you cleanse since it feels more like a complete skincare regimen. The toner goes on smoothly and evenly, but I feel that I need to get quite a lot out of the bottle to use with a cotton pad. There is also the option of putting the toner directly on your face with your hands. Although it is not a low cost essence, I still recommend it and will repurchase it.

I've been using K-beauty products for the better part of a year now, and one thing I've noticed is that K skincare puts a huge emphasis on toners/essences. Toners are an important step in the skincare routine, as essential as my serum, moisturizer, and SPF. They increase the effectiveness/absorption of the products that I'm putting on after I use the toner.I've used a number of products from by wishtrend, and enjoyed them all. This propolis essence is no exception!This toner is packaged simply in a plastic bottle with a screw off cap. To use the toner, I apply it to a cotton pad and rub it over my skin. A little goes a long way, and I only use a few drops each time. The toner doesn't have much of a scent, at least not that I can detect. The toner is very viscous (water-like consistency) and non-sticky, non-greasy. My skin absorbs the toner very quickly, in under a minute it is fully absorbed and I'm ready for my next skincare step.I'm in my late 30s, with combination skin. I've been using this toner every evening. I wash my face, apply this toner, and then move on with the next steps of my routine (serum, actives, moisturizer and/or oil). The toner fits very well into my skincare routine, as my other products can be layered over it with no issues. It doesn't cause pilling and can absolutely be worn under makeup.This essence feels wonderful on my skin. It's soothing, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and supple. When I apply the toner to an area with inflammation (acne breakout or a sunburn) it actually takes the "sting" out and it calms the redness. I got a nasty bug bite on the back of my neck and applying this toner to it took the itch out of it for the whole day AND took the swelling out of it. Pretty amazing!After using this toner daily for two weeks, my skin is feeling better hydrated and less reactive. It hasn't caused any congestion of my pores, quite the opposite, in fact, as it seems to calm and shrink any existing breakouts that I have. I normally get a bit of dryness around the sides of my face/cheeks, but since I started using this toner the dry bits have gone.My skin loves this propolis essence from by wishtrend. I won't hesitate to repurchase this product once I reach the end of my current bottle!

I have a very long and complicated skincare routine. As part of this routine, I am always trying out products and constantly refining my routine and the products in it. This energy-boosting essence is a great addition to my current routine and mixes well with my current products.It doesn't dry out my skin, it's non-sticky and helps to boost my hydration. Those are all key things that I am looking for in my essence and/or toner. It's only 100 ml in size, so it's not too large, but it's not a travel-size bottle either. It gives me just enough for what I need. In this current heatwave, this has really given me the extra hydration I need to keep my dry and dehydrated skin on track.

This lightweight essence absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue. I'm someone with extremely oily acne probe skin, so it's important that none of my face products contribute to my oiliness. This also has zero scent, and I had no adverse reactions on my very sensitive skin (I'm currently using an oral and topical skin treatment from the dermatologist to help with my acne and they make my skin more sensitive than normal). The bottle is at least twice the size of my serum bottles. I just sorr of tilt my head back and drop drops of the essence on my cheeks, forehead and neck and then pat it around to areas it over my entire face. I usually use a guasha tool or a ligh therapy vibrating massage device to help absorb it into my skin. I use it right after my toner, either before my serums, or in place of them. I do think that it's helped keep my skin more moisturized and a lot less flaky from my medications.

I've bought essences before and typically it's a step I could take or leave but with this essence I actually think its my most essential step of my skincare routine.I use the essence after cleansing and toning my skin and then put a few drips into my hands to pat into my face. Your skin will feel so good and hydrated while you're doing this, I then put on my serum after and it just feels and looks so much better. This definitely gives your skin an extra glow without being greasy at all. If you're someone looking for a glass skin look this essence should definitely be a part of your routine.The only issue I have with this essence is the price point, at just over $30 it seems about $10 -$15 more than your typical essence out there, but man does this work well, so I'm almost okay with it. I'm about a week into using this essence but it seems like i have quite a bit left and hardly made a mark, if it can last me 1.5-2 months it will still be something I'm very much interested in reordering.

I have to say this energy boosting essence with vitamin C really helped my skin hydrates and feeling fresh. I like using it after my toner because it's more of a water consistency. It's a good consistency that doesn't leave any stickiness or feeling any irritations. It's very fast absorption and I use it in my morning and night routine. I can see a difference in my skin tone and will be keep using it for a long time!

I am giving this product 5 stars, even if I am not really sure what it does! This is something water like and with no smell, and yet my skin seems to enjoy it so much, my face looks fresher, skinnier, healthier after I introduced this into my skin care routine!I use it as a toner, and I use it at night only!While vitamin C is good to use during the day, I avoid using this particular product during the day because it also contains propolis, and I am afraid that the bees and wasps might take an interest in me, if I wear this!I have found it very very pleasant, and I have to recommend it to anyone with sensitive and dehydrated skin, from the plethora of Kbeauty products out there this one is one of the better one!

My daughter enjoys using this after washing her face. She feels that it protects her skin barrier and prevents the skin from over drying. It is non-greasy and quick drying but retains the moisture from the next steps in her skincare routine. She recommends this product.

I picked this product up to use in conjunction with another product from this line and I am liking it, and them, when used together. My skin seems to really like this stuff. I feel like it makes my skin look and feel healthier, giving me a radiant glow. No complaints!

I'm not too sure what the difference between an essence and toner is, but I used this by patting it into my skin after cleansing it (without a cotton pad). My skin seemed to absorb it almost immediately and though I had to put on moisturizer following this, I think it certainly gave my face an extra moisture boost. My skin felt and looked a bit more dewy than normal. There is no fragrance and didn't break me out. It's very lightweight and watery (no oiliness or stickiness at all).

I’ve been searching for a decent toner and therefore was pleased when I came across this one. After my first few uses, I’ve been very happy with how it makes my skin feel during and after use, which is not always guaranteed when using other toners. It’s virtually unscented, which is not a bad thing, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and looking brighter with every use. Very pleased with this product!

I found that this Wishtrend Propolis Energy Boosting Essence worked great at adding an extra layer of hydration to my skin (I used it after toner and before serum) and it also helped with priming my skin before makeup.My skin was not irritated at all and it absorbed quickly into my skin. I also really liked that it has no scent to it. Likely very safe for those with sensitive skin.At such a reasonable price, I would definitely repurchase this Essence by Wishtrend.

The Wishtrend Propolis Energy Boosting Essence serum works great on dry skin and eczema . My kids have eczema patches on arms and legs which tend to amplify during cold and dry winters. This serum helps to relieve the itchiness and dryness and skin feels smoother. The serum has the consistency of a mineral oil but is not greasy and feels more like water. It is also completely fragrance free, which is necessary for my daughter who has a sensitivity to strong scents. Applying to skin goes on easily and it appears to absorb into the skin well. I do like the mostly natural ingredients used and that this can be used even on oily or combination skin, as it has ability to hydrate and moisturize.
