- good alone to remove simple dirt and oil or as step 1 of 2 (put on foaming wash after) to remove sunscreen and makeup- emulsifies when it gets wet- not too stripping- didn't break me out- lemon scent, but if you have eczema or sensitive, allergic skin then you should stay away from this product because of the lemon, lime, and bergamot oils

I love the product. It's great at removing makeup and using prior to the Low pH Gel Cleanser. Although, the pump gets clogged with the product. I had to pour it into one of my old CosRX essence bottles. It appears the oil is foaming inside the pump and then dries up. The product then just comes out the sides and is spilling around the bottle. Hopefully they change the bottle design to fix this.

Very good cleansing oil. Makeup can be easily removed from the face. Does not irritate the skin. No signs of allergies. Cleanse skin after massaging evenly. Love this cleansing oil!

I really like cleansing oils for my dry skin. A lot of other cleansers leave my skin dried out, likely because as I reach middle age my skin has a lot less of its natural oils. This cleansing oil washes away my makeup, rinses off cleanly and leave my skin feeling super soft. Not exatly a moisturized feel, but a soft feel . I'm unsure how this would work for a person who has oily skin, but for those of us with dry skin it's quite nice!

I started using this cleansing oil couple of days ago and I like it. I always use I oil as first step to take my makeup off and this works great! Highly recommend it!

This cleansing oil did a great job at removing my makeup and really breaking everything down before going in with my standard cleanser. I typically use cleansing balms because I prefer the consistency, but this oil wasn't too runny and was really manageable to pump out and transfer to my face. Plus it is a fairly large bottle size so I have a feeling will last a while

I got this oil to use as a pre cleanse for a deeper clean before dermaplaning. I wouldn't use this product to wash my face by itself.I massaged the dry oil into my face for a couple minutes, then added water to a silicone face brush. The oil got milky and lathered up some bubbles as I washed it off. I washed my face with a regular gentle facial cleanser and dried before dermaplaning.My skin was dry after using, but that is expected with a double cleanse and no moisturizer. The product has a nice light scent that isn't too artificial or overpowering.I'm excited to incorporate this oil into my regular routine! I used about 3 lumps for my entire face, neck, and collarbone area, so one bottle will last a a while.

Really nice face Cleansing Oil that actually cleans your face well. You have to put in on your face dry and rub it in before adding water to wash. It has 11 Plant-derived oils so a lot of good things in it. Washes off well the first time.

I was not sure if I would like this or not, but I do love this brand. My skin is on the oily side anyways. But, it slight foamed up when the water was added and rinsed off well. It left my skin hydrated and not dry, but it wasn't oily at all. My skin feels great after using it,not harsh or drying at all. I haven't had any clogged pores or issues after using it. Perfect for winter!

I love COSRX products, and so does my skin! I'm a big fan of Korean beauty products, and this cleanser passes my tests with flying colors!I've been using this as my first cleanser in my two-cleanse routine, and it does a great job. I take a few pumps and rub it onto my dry skin, and wash my face with warm water while working the oil into a lather. It takes off my foundation & eye make up really gently, and preps my skin for a second cleanse.The lather is really smooth, and leaves my skin feels incredibly soft! It definitely feels like a moisturizing cleanser (especially with the cica ingredient!). The smell is also quite pleasant, too! It almost reminds me of those gummy cola candies -- smelling slightly sweet (with a very strong note of jojoba oil).I will say it struggles to take off my waterproof mascara fully, but that's something I always expect with oil cleansers -- so I just follow up with a eye makeup remover.

COSRX cleansing oil surprised me with its ease of use and cleansing properties. After many trials with different products, I found that 2 level cleansing the face make up works for me better . That's why I decided to give COSRX a try. It has a light citrusy fragrance. It comes in a pump bottle. I used 2 pumps but I think that was too much. Then I followed the instructions on the bottle. Massaged the face with oil then oil mixed with water and rinsed with water. I was shocked that the oils on my face rinsed very well without a foaming cleanser. The ingredients are very good quality. I do reccomend this cleanser for make up remover.

This worked great for me! It seems almost counterintuitive to wash your face with an oil-based cleanser, but it actually acts like a magnet, removing oils from your skin without leaving skin dry afterwards. Even though this cleaner is oil-based, it has a very thin consistency so it doesn't feel super heavy on your skin. It has a nice, light, citrusy fragrance that smells natural and not fake. Rinses easily and removes light makeup/mascara. I've been using a micellar water but switching to this because I like it better!

This cleansing oil really does the job at removing makeup without scrubbing. It has a very light, pleasant, lemony smell, that I really enjoy. It rinses off well and leaves my face feeling soft and not greasy at all. I really like that this cleansing oil comes in a pump bottle. I have tried others that you just tilt the bottle to get the product out, but the pump that this oil comes in makes it much less cumbersome to use. This cleansing oil makes my skin feel great! I am very happy with it. No animal testing pushes this product up even higher on my list. Excellent product at an great price!

I've been double cleansing my skin for years now. (oil to remove stubborn make up/sunscreen and cleanser to wash face of any residual dirt/oil/bacteria) I usually use a facial cleansing oil, occasionally a balm. So, I'm familiar with a handful of other brands that make a similar product.What I like about COSRX's oil is that it feels very silky and lightweight going on. It glides beautifully across my skin, dissolving and loosening up my make-up and water resistant sunscreen. The scent is very subtle and a muted citrus. Not perfumey at all. When rinsing this off it leaves your skin feeling very clean, not filmy. I think combination and even oilier skin types that are not usually a fan or familiar with cleansing oils will like this. I did not try this to remove eye make-up, as I have a favorite product I use for my sensitive eyes so I cannot offer feedback on that aspect. Overall, a lovely facial cleansing oil that worked perfectly, without causing irritation or break-outs.

I really like the lemon scent of this cleanser. The best part - it agreed with my oily skin. I used just as directed - put several pumps onto my face and then emulsified with water. It lathers just slightly and doesn't feel slick. It rinsed off easily and thoroughly and left my skin looking and feeling fresh. As they day went on, my face was shine free. Very happy with this product!

This is a nice mild face cleanser that I like to use in the morning in the shower. It cleans my face well and gets it ready for me to apply my make up for the day. I wouldn’t consider it a great face wash for removing make up and you should probably get some thing made more for that purpose. If this comes from the same company, that makes some really great pimple patches and definitely worth a shot if you’re looking for a nice smile face cleanser.

This product feels great and I personally love the lemon scent. I used it for a few days until my acne flared up like crazy. It looks like my sensitive skin just didn’t agree with one of the oils, which is fine. Not CosRx’s fault. I gave the bottle to my mom who basically bathes in olive oil and has skin made of iron, and she loves it.

I got this to double cleanse my face as I wear a water resistant sunscreen on my face and that doesn't wash off well with just a gentle cleanser.This oil has a very nice refreshing scent which is mildly minty. It emulsifies the sunscreen well and I bet would do the same with makeup. I follow up with a gentle cleanser and my face is so clean yet not dried out afterwards.I sought out the particular product in part because COSRX is cruelty-free. I'm overall very happy with this oil.
