This is a lovely, simply hydrating and soothing first step toner/essence. Green tea is soothing and rich in polyphenols (type of antioxidant), and because the formulation of this is very lightweight and gentle, it would be perfect for any skin type. In particular, I think it good put in the fridge and used as a cooling toner in the summer, paired with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for redness reduction and soothing for acne-prone skin, or paired with a retinol in an anti-aging routine. There is no discernible scent, so the toner is suitable for those with sensitive noses. The bottle is generously sized and made with 30% recycled materials, and the lid dispenses product at an appropriate rate. I would definitely give this a try if you are sensitive to a lot of ingredients and just looking for something very basic and trustworthy.

Melixir Vegan Balancing Toner works great for my oily sensitive skin.It is pretty lightweight, fast absorbing, moisturizing and refreshing. Not irritating for my sensitive skin.The scent and texture reminds me of Kiehls calendula toner but a lot less expensive. Highly recommended!

I’ve really enjoyed using this toner on my dry sensitive skin. I’ve traditionally used the Clinique clarifying toner, but ran out and was given the opportunity to try this brand, so decided to give it a chance.I liked the simple packaging and presentation of this product. The bottle is huge and should last a while, since you only need a little each application. The formula is alcohol free so doesn’t sting or burn at all, even if you have a zit or broken skin. The smell is very mild, somewhat like tea, and fades immediately. I’m very sensitive to smells and this hasn’t been an issue for me. The color of the toner is a little confusing because it’s hard to tell if you accidentally left any grime or makeup on your skin when the pad is already orange from the toner! But no big deal.I’ve found that it leaves my skin feeling fresh and ready to absorb moisturizer. It doesn’t dry it out at all, which is often a big concern for me, but at the same time, doesn’t seem to do much by way of minimizing acne etc because it’s so gentle and non drying. I think in the long run, it would probably help with problem skin just by keeping it in healthy condition and well balanced, without drying it out. But it hasn’t provided the same clarifying results that I’ve seen from other more drying toners.Overall, I really like this toner as it’s no gentle, non drying, and faintly scented. It’s a little pricey but it’s lasting a long time, so I’d be open to buying it again!

I know it’s a little pricey but it feels great on the skin and not at all harsh as most of the toners do.I love this product and would totally recommend for people who have sensitive skin. I like this toner. It doesn’t have a smell and it goes on nice without leaving skin dry. It helpedMinimize redness and tighten pores. I feel like it does good job removing extra dirt and oil the cleanser was not able to. My skin feels smooth and hydrated. Definitely recommend
