Such good quality, good for layering, if your only using one toner I recommend putting a few layers if you like I follow the Korean beauty method. This stuff is so so good and has almost no fragrance.

It always surprises me to hear myself wax poetic about a toner — the most divisive step in the face protocol — but Acwell’s Licorice PH balancing toner is potentially the heaviest hitter in my product arsenal. It hits way outside its weight class and is anything but “just a toner.” I have good skin at 50 but haven’t always. My barrier used to be weak and I struggled with adult acne into my 30s. I wish this had been around then. It’s nurturing and moisturizing without being heavy. It preps and imparts glow. If you have good skin and want to keep it, this is your friend. If you are struggling with issues and need to repair your barrier, this is your best friend. I discovered this five years ago and I haven’t been without it since. I use it immediately after cleansing and before actives or moisturizers morning and night on my combo skin that also sees Tretinoin nightly. My acne-prone teen has recently added it to his routine and is seeing improvement. Licorice root is gold for balancing and anti-inflammatory properties, and Acwell has mastered a formula here. That it’s also reasonably priced is the cherry on this fantastic sundae.

It smells heavenly, it has a watery consistency but on the skin it slips just like a serum, and my skin drinks it up! I recently started tretinoin and I needed a few extra products to keep me hydrated and THIS one is by far my favorite! Enough so that I will be purchasing some of the other products from this line as well. Worth every penny!

This toner is a staple in my face routine! It nourishes and plumps up my skin! It does not leave any kind of residue or tackiness on my face. I do have more of a dry complexion on my face, so I wouldn’t think it would work well for oily skin.
