Description

By Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream is a nighttime moisturizer formulated with retinal and bakuchiol to help improve the appearance of skin texture, pores, and fine lines while providing hydration. The fragrance-free, ethanol-free formula contains 300 ppm retinal and 10,000 ppm bakuchiol in a 30 g airless pump container.

How to Use

After cleansing and applying serum, apply 1 pump at night. Start with a small amount and gradually adjust the frequency according to your skin’s response; beginners or sensitive skin may begin twice a week and increase gradually. Do not exceed 2 pumps per use. Use sunscreen the following morning. Avoid use if pregnant or if your skin is highly sensitive to vitamin A or chemical exfoliants.

Rich and hydrating

I did not expect that this product can hydrate my thin dry skin, bc it has bakuchiol and retinal, but it does. It doesn’t feel greasy on the skin, does not make my skin sensitive, no rush, no flaking.I could recommend it for retinol beginners or for people with sensitive skin type.

A wonderful gentle retinoid cream

My skin is resilient combination skin. My biggest concern is texture.I swapped out my tretinoin 0,05% (used nightly for over a year) for this. I am on spironolactone 100mg once a day (since 4.5 months ago) and I wanted to see if that could do most of the heavy lifting without completely removing the retinoid from my routine. This was delivered on October 2 and I have eliminated tretinoin and been using it every night for 10 days now. I have not experienced any purging or irritation. The routine I use it in is the same as tretinoin, basically I cleanse, dry my face, exfoliate, wait like 10 min, then toner, essence, this cream, and apply night cream mixed with face oil.I am so happy with the formulation of this product, it has played nicely with every product I used with it, and never pilled up. My skin is generally clearer from irritation, dryness, and acne than it was before the switch and I definitely noticed an improvement in texture, hydration and softness of my skin. This is more expensive for me than tretinoin since I buy it when I'm abroad for like $4 but the more elegant formulation and improvement in my results is worth it.

0.03% Retinaldahyde 1% Bacuchiol. Retinal is naturally yellow!

Ok so based of the PPM calculation on the packaging that Koreans use to measure % of active ingredients, I calculated and this is in fact a lower dose 0.03% Retinaldahyde and a 1% Bacuchiol which is pretty impressive. I normally use geek and gorgeous A game on my nights off or in rotation with RX tretinoin and their lowest is 0.05% (geek and gorgeous) so I get some irritation with that one. This one is only a tiny bit weaker so it’s fantastic to work your way up to a higher strength. I also use the beauty of JOSEON Ginseng+RetinAl eye cream which is in a 1 Oz airless squeeze tube at a whopping 1oz (for an eye cream!!) for 17$ and can usually be found on Amazon or Yesstyle etc, and calculated that by their PPM measurement and it is also a 0.03% retinaldahyde which is great. I’ve used that cream every night since I got it 1.5 months ago under my eyes when I’m using tret and occasionally allover my face and have never gotten irritation.Retinal is far less irritating than Retinol because it doesn’t have to do a bunch of stuff to turn into retinoic acid aka tretinoin the way retinol does. It is confusing but with a retinal-you are going to get results in far less time than even a higher strength retinol. Retinal is in my opinion very comparable to my tretinoin prescription. I’ve used tretinoin for 10 years at a 0.025% and occasionally will do a higher strength. I believe the 0.03% in this cream is extremely close to the rx as I get the same/similar results.*COLOR- do some research before complaining. Retinaldahyde is known for being nearly neon yellow, every single retinal I’ve ever used has been yellow. You only need a PEA SIZED AMOUNT! Don’t worry If you’re not spreading it EXACTLY everywhere to your face-over time Retinoids migrate even beyond 1” from where it’s applied. More is NOT MORE in the case of Retinoids unless you want peeling skin!! If you use any more than a pea sized amount then you will likely get irritation by the next day or within 2-3 days as it takes some time for irritation to appear typically.. Do not apply this like a night cream-use it as a treatment.BACUCHIOL- I don’t know a lot about this ingredient, I’ve read a lot but it takes a lot to convince me. This is 1% Bacuchiol though which is within the realm of the studies that were done on it (.5%-1%) may absolutely have some benefit when combined as well as helping to stabilize the retinal.Overall great! if you get irritation layer serums and a lotion cream first let dry 10-15 min then apply THIS thinly over face not worrying how accurate or how MUCH you get on just spread it, tap it around a bit and wait. Then once it has sunken into the skin you have to wait, apply a thicker occlusive moisturizer over top. This is how I introduced and retinized my skin to my tretinoin prescription 10 years ago and continue to do it when I take breaks or use other products. I’ve used retinaldahydes for 15 years. My first was osmosis If I remember correctly. I always use a couple serums then apply the retinoid last. For better results tho-apply what you want to work the most, closest to your skin. Then let dry and sink in and apply a cream over top to avoid water loss of the skin which is what makes your skin dry out.WEAR: This CAN PILL so it’s best to apply first to dry skin. Let soak in for some time then you can moisturize later. Still a great product

The cream glides on smooth and feels silky smooth. It provides long-lasting moisture for dry areas and doesn't feel heavy like other night creams do. Would recommend this product to friends.
