I've recently realized I have wavy/curly hair. I always just thought it was frizzy and "squiggly". I seriously had no idea! What that means is that I am a full adult who has no idea how to shape her hair properly to make it look pretty. I do the TikTok rules (shower, brush and separate, scrunch, mousse in the shower, scrunch, lots of gel in the shower, scrunch, micro-plop, separate, scrunch, pixie diffuse, air-dry, crunch out the cast) and my hair looks great... and then falls flat after a few hours in the Florida humidity. I was recommended trying hairspray before I crunch out the cast, and some more AFTER I take out all the cast.Let me just tell you, this hairspray has been AMAZING for that! It really does hold very strong, and when the humidity strikes, as it will always do here, it actually remoistens the hair spray just enough to rebuild the holding bond.I was going to take a star off, though, because the smell is SOOOO 1980s hairspray. It reminds me of when my auntie would do up her hair before going out, and use what had to be a full bottle of aquanet. Like, up until I literally wrote this line of my review I had it at 4 stars. But while the smell is STRONK, the hairspray just works so well, that i know I will continue getting it and I'll just learn to live with the scent. It's worth it, for how well it works.I did try other hairsprays before this one, and honestly, none hold and work as well as this does. Seventeen bucks for something that makes sure my hair looks good all day is totally worth it, smell or no!
This styling spray is an absolute must-have! The hold is impressively strong without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy. It keeps my curls defined and my volume lifted all day long, even in humidity. I love the fine mist—it applies evenly without overloading any section, and best of all, there’s no flaking or sticky residue. The finish looks natural and touchable, which is hard to find in a strong-hold spray. A little goes a long way, and it truly elevates any hairstyle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for long-lasting, salon-quality results at home!
My wife has been using this for about two weeks on her hair, which she curls with a wand a couple of times a week for work. The spray comes out as a fine even mist rather than a heavy wet stream, so she can hold the bottle a reasonable distance from her head and get full coverage without soaking one spot. Hold is solid through a full workday — curls keep their shape into the evening without drooping flat, and she says there is no crunchy helmet feel when she runs her fingers through. Dries within a few seconds of spraying with no tackiness left behind. No white flakes on her dark hair or on her shoulders, which has been a problem with other sprays she has tried. Scent is light and neutral, not floral or heavily perfumed. Brushes out cleanly at the end of the day without leaving any sticky residue behind. The bottle is a decent size at this price.
I don’t normally use any type of hairspray, but since I decided to give myself some bangs, I need all the help I could get helping to style them. This is where the amazing Daleaf styling fixer came in to save me!I swear this stuff is amazing. I am a banquet server and I do a lot of events outside by the bay and ocean and it gets pretty hot, humid and windy. When I’m running around outside, I tend to get pretty sweaty, especially on my face and forehead, causing my bangs to get all wet and flat and lose their style. But after using this, my bangs looked great my entire shift. The product held up really well and none of the hairspray ended up getting on my forehead, even with all the sweating.. And when I curl my hair, this will hold my curls all day without making my hair stiff or tacky, making it so easy to still brush my hair after applying it and not have my brush ripping through my hair. All the writing on the bottle is Korean, but thankfully, the shrink wrap on the outside does have a label attached in English, so all the ingredients and instructions are on that label. The smell is very reminiscent of the 1980s hairsprays, except this doesn’t leave a strong, lingering scent or a sticky residue on my hair, and my hair looks totally soft and natural, not glued together, like those old hairsprays used to do.I’ve always been a fan of Korean skin care now I’m a fan of their hair products as well. So happy I found this Daleaf styling spray!
It was a really nice surprise that the Daleaf Glam Styling Fixer really styled my hair just the way I wanted it... without much fuss. I was able to build highs and lows with my hair, along with texture, without making a mess of my hair and overdoing it. The spray feels natural, smells nice and not overly strong, and holds ny curls for quite a long time - even through hot weather.I like this spray bottle that gives me good precision on my curls with each spray, and the ingredients seem to be ones my hair likes... it does not damage my hair or create frizz afterwards. It easily washes off. This is a nice bottle that is both easy to use and does a great job of holding my hair in various modes and styles.
I initially had doubts, especially since I couldn't understand anything on the back of the bottle. I decided to test it by spraying my hands first. Fortunately, there was no reaction after 5 minutes. So, I sprayed my hair. The scent was a lighter, fruity version of Aqua Net, which I initially worried would be bad, like Aqua Net, which always flakes. I was pleasantly surprised; there were no flakes, and my hair felt thicker and fuller. It wasn't oily or greasy either. It was also easy to apply and style, and I felt it was a professional, salon-quality product. If it weren't for the confusing ingredient labeling, I would have given it 5 stars. I also don't love the scent, but it fades. Lastly, I have 3B curls when wet and waves when dry, depending on the length.
This Daleaf Glam Styling Fixer is a solid addition to my hair styling routine. It sprays evenly with a fine mist, and I haven’t had any issues with clogging. It dries fairly quickly and, most importantly, does a good job holding my hair in place without leaving white flakes or a sticky residue.I also appreciate that it brushes out easily without causing noticeable breakage, which makes it more flexible for restyling. The listing mentions nourishing benefits, but I wasn’t able to find clear ingredient details. The bottle is written in another language, which makes it difficult to fully understand what’s in the formula. I would have liked more transparency in that area. The scent is also pretty standard for a hairspray—more of a typical chemical/alcohol smell rather than anything light or pleasant.Overall, I like the performance and the styling results I get with this product. However, the lack of clear ingredient information and the basic scent led me to take off one star.
This Glam Styling Fixer by DALEAF provides a long-lasting, strong hold while keeping my hair manageable. It keeps my curls in tact and maintains their volume for quite awhile, without making them feel stiff or crunchy. The fine mist sprays evenly and provides consistent coverage. It doesn't leave behind any flakes or residue. This hair spray works well for achieving a natural look and movement while securing the style. Overall, this fixing spray does as it claims and effectively holds the style of my hair. It works like hair spray, so I was initially skeptical about the price. But the hold does last quite a bit longer, making it nore of a value for those looking for all-day hold. I would certainly purchase again.
Daleaf Glam Styling Fixer is a reliable hairspray if you’re looking for a strong hold that actually lasts all day. I have naturally curly hair, and this kept my curls defined and in place from morning to night without needing touch-ups. The fine mist sprays evenly, so it doesn’t leave wet spots or clumps, which I really like. One of the biggest positives for me is that it has little to no noticeable scent, so it doesn’t compete with perfume or feel overpowering. The finish looks natural—not overly shiny or crunchy—but there is a slight stiffness to the hair. It’s not extreme, though, and I was still able to comb through my hair later without too much trouble.I tested it on both damp and dry hair, and it performed consistently well in both cases, helping hold curls and maintain volume depending on how I styled. It also didn’t flake or leave visible residue, which is a big plus for darker hair.Overall, this is a great option if you want a dependable, long-lasting hold with a lightweight feel and clean finish. It works especially well for curls, but can easily fit into any styling routine where you need your hair to stay in place all day.
I have naturally wavy/curly hair and I’m always looking for products that will help hold my curls and control frizz without making my hair stiff, crunchy, or sticky. That’s why I wanted to try this styling spray, and so far I’m really impressed with it.This does a really nice job holding my hair in place while still keeping it looking natural. My curls and waves stayed intact throughout the day, and I didn’t have issues with frizz, which is usually my biggest problem. It also didn’t leave my hair crunchy or flaky like some hairsprays and styling products can. My hair still felt soft and touchable, just more controlled and styled.Another thing I noticed is that it smells really nice without being overpowering. The spray itself is a fine mist, so it distributes evenly and doesn’t leave wet spots. One thing I do want to mention is that the bottle came wrapped in plastic, and the English instructions were actually printed on the plastic wrap, not on the bottle itself. Once you remove the plastic, the bottle only has non-English text. So if you want to keep the instructions, you may want to take a picture of the plastic before throwing it away.Overall, I’m really happy with this product and will continue using it. It’s a great option if you want hold and frizz control but still want your hair to look natural and not stiff.
I'm a longtime K-beauty fan, but didn't consider haircare. Which was a big oversight on my part, because K-drama actresses have absolutely perfect hair, especially bangs!Since my bangs are naturally wavy and have a deeply stubborn cowlick, I've been hunting for a solution. I've thrown the whole arsenal at them: mousse, gel, hairspray. Gel holds best, but when I use enough to actually tame the cowlick it often gets flaky, gummy, weird-feeling. Frustrating.Short story, this worked better on my stubborn fringe than anything I've tried so far, and I'm genuinely thrilled about it. I spray it on my damp bangs, blow-dry/ round brush, and they behaved like Valedictorians - not the slackers and troublemakers they usually are 🤣. Over 48 hours later, no rewetting, still straight, non-clumping, zero stiffness. It just feels like my hair! So yeah. I'm impressed.Much like my favorite K-dramas, this required translation, but I'm adding a translated pic for you.💧 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 & 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 - It's a light, watery spray - not sticky, not heavy. The pump is good; a couple of sprays covers my bangs evenly. Scent-wise, the fragrance blend (geraniol, citronellol, linalool, hexyl cinnamal) reads as a soft floral-fresh, pleasant but not perfumey. It fades quickly once dry.🔬 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿Best I can tell, the magic comes from a clever polymer duo: PVP (a classic styling workhorse) paired with Amphomer - the easier-to-pronounce trade name for "Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer".PVP on its own tends to get tacky or flaky in humidity; Amphomer brings the flexibility and humidity resistance. Together, they cover each other's weaknesses, which is exactly why this holds without the dreaded crunch or flake. The supporting cast is pretty interesting too:● Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), for hair conditioning● A whopping 9 plant proteins! Cottonseed, Amaranth, Bladderwrack, Sweet Almond, Corn, Oat, Rice, Potato & Soybean. They're fairly low on the ingredient list, so I wouldn't expect dramatic repair, but it's a thoughtful touch.● Salicylic acid (BHA) Probably responsible for the scalp health claims, but more on that later...● The #1 ingredient is Alcohol. Not a deal breaker, it just means using with care is important.🎯 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 - The bottle lists three usage methods, and I have opinions:1️⃣ 𝘚𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘱 𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘴 + 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘸-𝘥𝘳𝘺 - Yes! This is the move. Damp hair will buffer the alcohol, and you're shaping as it dries. Maximum results, minimum damage risk.2️⃣ 𝘚𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘥𝘳𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳 - Occasional touch-ups? Sure. Daily on my dry hair? I'm cautious. Since Alcohol is the very first ingredient (meaning highest concentration), and it evaporates fast on dry strands. Fine once in a while, but probably not great as a routine.3️⃣ 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘱 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 (𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘱 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺) - I'd skip this entirely. The salicylic acid and plant proteins that make this appealing as a "treatment" seem too far down the list to deliver meaningful scalp benefits. And rubbing a high-alcohol styling product into your scalp daily is far more likely to cause irritation than to work miracles. Hard pass from me.𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀:✔ Strong, long-lasting hold without flaking, crunch, or stiffness - nothing has worked better on my straight-across, wispy-choppy bangs!✔ The PVP + Amphomer combo genuinely delivers on humidity resistance✔ Leaves hair looking & feeling natural/flexible - not "done"✔ Works great on damp hair before blow-drying✔ Nice texture, good pump, easy to apply✔ Made in Korea by an established brand𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱:➞ Alcohol is the first ingredient - this isn't ideal for already dry or damaged hair. Use primarily on damp hair and you should be fine; daily dry application is riskier.➞ Contains fragrance allergens (geraniol, citronellol, linalool, limonene, etc.). Limonene in particular is a known sensitizer and EU-listed allergen. Concentration appears low (end of list), but fragrance-reactive folks should consider a patch test.➞ Contains 9 plant proteins; all are naturally gluten-free, but the oat protein isn't listed as hydrolyzed, which may matter to those with celiac disease (cross-contamination risk during processing is the main concern with oat ingredients). Personally, I'm celiac and have had zero issues - I consider the topical risk very low - but it's worth knowing.➞ When I ordered this, it was $16.99, which isn't super cheap, but I consider it worth it for the results I've had✗ The scalp treatment suggestion is not the best idea IMO𝗧𝗟𝗗𝗥: An awesome bang-taming spray with a smart polymer formula (PVP + Amphomer) that delivers real hold without flaking, crunch, or stiffness. Nothing has tamed my cowlick better. The high amount of alcohol requires care: Best used on damp hair before blow-drying; I also suggest skipping it as a "scalp treatment".
My daughter really liked this product. She said it did well holding her hair in place for prom and told me she wanted more when she eventually will run out.
This hairspray really delivers when it comes to hold. The Daleaf Glam Styling Fixer keeps my curls in place all day without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy, which is a huge win. It adds great volume and manages to keep everything looking polished and natural at the same time.I also like that it doesn’t leave behind that sticky residue some sprays do, and it brushes out pretty easily at the end of the day.The only reason I’m taking off one star is the smell. It’s not unbearable, but it’s definitely not my favorite and lingers longer than I’d like. If the scent were improved, this would easily be a 5-star product.Overall, though, it’s a solid styling spray that does exactly what it promises.
I’ve been using this styling spray for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed. It provides a strong hold without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy, which is exactly what I was looking for. It keeps my style in place throughout the day while still allowing some natural movement.
Received this Dallas styling fixer and im very pleased with it. Initially I did have to translate all the information in the bottle because its in Korean. So once I was more informed of what this was exactly, I proceeded to style my hair w it.First of all I like that the mist is on the fine side so you can easily cover a large portion without aiming at one specific spot.I also love the scent . Its fruity but minty. Kind of hard to describe but it smells good. Once on hair it gives it a nice hold without being too crunchy.Hair stays in place.Overall I found this styler to be pretty good quality and great addition to my hair styling product collection.
I got this hair spray for my curly hair and it works pretty well. I wanted something to help hold the shape of my curls, and it does that. It has a nice smell and isn’t too heavy. I only use a little at a time and it still helps keep my curls in place. It’s easy to wash out which I like. I also like that my hair doesn't get stiff and my hair looks great. It's a good option if you want a simple spray to help keep your curls looking nice.
I have wavy curly hair and usually rely on mousse or gel along with a diffuser but I’ve been trying to cut back on heat styling. This spray has been really helpful as I experiment with letting my hair air dry more naturally.I spray it in and then let my hair do its own thing and it really helps enhance my natural waves. It adds definition without making my hair feel crunchy or stiff which is something I really appreciate. My waves look more defined but still soft and touchable. It also helps keep my hair feeling hydrated rather than dried out. There is a light refreshing scent but it does not linger too strongly or smell like typical hairspray. The mist is fine and comes out evenly so it’s easy to control how much product you use.The bottle itself is easy to hold and spray which makes styling simple. This has been a great option for adding hold and definition to wavy or curly hair without heat and without sacrificing softness.
A hold spray that actually keeps my curls intact all day without leaving my hair feeling stiff or coated. From the first use, the mist distribution is easy and even, no need to go back over sections or worry about one spot getting more product than another, which can be a major issue for something like this. Volume stayed where it was meant to stay, and the hold lasted through a full day without any touch ups needed.Brushing out my hair at the end of the day after use was still smooth with zero resistance or breakage, which is honestly what sold me on making this something I will use all the time. No flaking either, which is always a concern with stronger hold formulas. Really happy with this one!
My first impression of this spray was that it smells really good. Kinda floral, not the typical chemically scent of regular hairspray. It is super sticky if sprayed on too thick, the English part of the label does say to spray from a foot away probably to help with this. I used it mostly as a finishing spray to keep flyaways tucked down and it did fantastic. It does get crusty, but lasts a long time. If you undo or redo your hairstyle it does not flake. That was a great feature to me because I usually wash my hair every couple days and wear my hair up for work so not having dandruff looking white spots was huge. I tried to use it as directed, on wet hair while blowing it out and it worked good but again I had some crushing at the top where I think I sprayed too much so I ended up not wearing my hair down. Overall easy to use as a hair spray type product and a good size bottle that should last, I would purchase again.Review for: DALEAF Glam Styling Fixer 6.76 fl oz | Long-Lasting Strong Hold Hair Spray for Curls & Volume | Natural Finish, No-Flake Fine Mist Styling Spray, 1 Pack
