This feels cool on the skin and moisturizing. I have not had any success with it removing blemishes, but can recognize the other fine qualities of the product.
This is designed for clearing red blemish. Since I don’t have any red blemish, I can’t tell how effective it is. To me, it is more like a smaller version of regular face mask with serum. The shape looks perfect for area under eyes but I use them on any dry area on my face. These mini masks are very hydrating and you don’t need to leave them on for 15-20 mins. Usually you can feel they start getting drier after 5 mins. But even in the short period of time, your face feels instantly hydrated and smoothed. I’m normally not a fan of masks since they could get messy and take so much time (when they are on my face, I have to stay still). However, these are much more convenient and just as effective if not more. I have super sensitive skin but these mini masks are very gentle on my face. No allergic reaction, all I can see is that my fine lines are reduced after taking the masks off. My face feels moisturized within a few minutes. Highly recommend!
These pads come in a well sealed well packaged good sized jar. I like that there is plenty of liquid in the jar so the pre-moistened pads are very well saturated. It comes with small tongs so you can pick up a single pad easily without touching more than one at a time. The directions say to use them like a mask on problem spots. It says to stick the pad onto the area for 3-5 minutes. The pads themselves are fairly thin so they can stick to the face for a few minutes without falling off. I think they are so saturated that they can also work well as a moisturizing wipe. They seem to have many uses for cleansing, soothing, moisturizing and also helping with blemishes. It contains an impressive list of ingredients including Centella Asiatica Extract (cica) which is one of my favorite skincare ingredients these days. This is a nice versatile, quality product.
The first thing that impressed me about this product was the packaging. A lot of Korean products just have labels printed in Korean, which seems fair but also makes it hard to get instructions if you don’t read Korean. These have instructions in multiple languages and also seem to have braille on the label. They’re sealed well, with a neat east-to-open foil top. The pads are shaped like a cookie with a bite missing. They’re super soothing on your skin, especially if they’re a little cool.Great product, would buy again.
Been using these for a few days now.Because it’s listed as a cooling and soothing pad, I’ve been using them after exercise when my skin is a little flushed. So far, so good! It does go on cool, and does seem to be less medicinal and more natural. So it also does have a soothing effect. As far as moisturizing effect, a little hard to say as I’m already flushed from exercise and not really in a dry state at that point. But I’ll use it again at the beginning of the day starting from next week, and we’ll see how it does in the beginning of the day and whether it can help me skip my moisturizer step. But I do like it so far.
When these arrived I had a breakout that was just starting to heal along my jawline, though it was still red and inflamed, so I was able to immediately test these out. I started out placing them on my cheeks as suggested (I had some redness I wanted to calm, but no specific breakouts). Immediate cooling effect that felt quite nice on my skin. Once the 5 min passed I lifted each one and dabbed the excess product on the parts of my cheeks and that jawline where the pad hadn't reached.I feel that this sped the healing of the breakout. By the next morning it was significantly reduced in size and redness which I wasn't expecting for another day or so. Is it weird that I want another breakout to test this more? Meanwhile I'll update after my next breakout. My pads arrived neatly stacked though the topmost one was folded over on one side. Not a big deal, and this actually made it easier to grab the first one with tweezers, because I could more easily see just how thin they are. There's plenty of product on them as well. These Dr. G products really do have thoughtful packaging. There's braille included on the boxes and jar, the seals are easy to open, and there are inner reusable lids to keep in moisture and freshness - plus any tools you might need, like the included mini-tweezers for lifting individual pads out of the jar.
I've really been enjoying these soothing pads. I haven't been exhibiting any major irritation or redness these days but just using them as a nice cica mask for your cheeks, forehead or other problem area is really nice. My boyfriend usually has more redness and irritation than I do so I'd love to get him to try some of these when the moment comes. It comes with these little plastic tongs to help you pick out soothing pads. I think it's worth the price as you're getting 70 pads and feels very soothing on the skin.
I really like this product but I think there's either a design flaw or misunderstanding due to the language barrier. The packaging is very nice and I'm a big fan of the container it comes in. There's a tight seal that keeps it fresh and little bitty tweezers to grab the pads with. Based on the picture, you're supposed to place them on your face where you have redness and remove them after 3-5 minutes. I think that works fine for your cheeks but the pads are huge. If you're like me and have redness on your nose, they're just too big. I find this works better to swipe the solution all over my red spots and just give it time to absorb. It's a little bit like a toner this way. It works great to relieve redness and I like the way it makes my skin feel. It's got a pleasant scent and there's plenty of solution so it should last awhile.
